WORLD's SMALLEST ATOM SIZED TRANSISTOR:
UK scientists have innovated world’s smallest transistor which is comparable to the size of an atom and can well be considered as the building block of the electronic devices in future. The newly developed technological wonder is just one atom thin and 10 atoms wide and is made from super material Graphene a better conductor than Silicon which can increase the mobility of electrons 10 times of that in silicon thus making it a natural choice for semi-conductors of the future.
Research leader Dr Novoselov said graphene was a “wonderful conductor”, making it a perfect material for chip applications. “It is already superior to silicon by an order of magnitude and comparable to the best samples of other materials. We believe we can increase this mobility of electron flow 10-fold.”

ONE PC but SERVES FOR 30 MEMBERS:

As the IT field is spreading in all fields, there are some people who doesn't know about the computer. This creates a back step in DIGITAL field. To decrease these conditions different countries are making the steps."ONE LAPTOP FOR CHILD" by NICHOLAS NEGRO PANTE, is also a part of this.
Latestly, a company,NCOMPUTING,spcifying a solution to decrease the DIGITAL internal fields. It is possible as, the PC we are using have so much capacity as wasteless..They are saying that "share that capacity".

The company also produced a software to increaase the capacity of PC processing.By connecting this tool to one PC and all other PCs are connected to that PC.

So by this process,7-30 members can work on a single PC.For all these members have different KeyBoards,Mouses,Monitor but have same Processor. So by this the COST will be reduced.
This technology can be very useful in Schools,Colleges,Offices.

THIS PAPER WII ERASE IN 24 HOURS,REUSABLE UPTO 100 TIMES:

Xerox has invented a new form of Self Erasable Paper Technology that would self erase anything printed on the surface of special type of paper within a time span of 24 hours, the paper can then be reused for upto 100 times. So you might ask what the use of this? well it can be used in offices, instead of trashing or recycling the paper, it can be used again and again for upto 100 times. This Reusable paper is environmentally safe, reduces paper waste and could also help in lowering overall paper costs.
How the technology works:
The paper contains specially coded molecules that create a print after being exposed to ultraviolet light emitted from a thin bar in a printer. The molecule readjusts itself within 24 hours to its original form to delete the print, or heat can readjust the molecule instantly. Xerox developed the molecule. The ultraviolet bar itself is very small, so it can also be used in mobile printers.
No info about pricing details is available yet.

CRICKET BALL WITH INBUILT SPEEDOMETER TECHNOLOGY FOR LIVE SPEED MEASUREMENT:

A cricket ball has been developed which can measure its own speed and display the ball speed measurement on the tiny LCD screen on one side, it also comes with a inbuilt long lasting battery. Until now radar guns have been used to measure the bowling speeds of bowler and there’s always been a curiosity among the cricket fans in deciding the “world’s faster bowler “, with the new Speedsensor measuring technology inside the ball itself it might become possible to get the accurate speed measurement and thereby giving the crown to the one who deserves it.
How it works:
The inbuilt Speedsensor measures the speed of bowl between the time when it first gets released from the bowler hand and until it hits something(preferably nets) whereas the Radar gun reads out the speed between the point when the bowl gets released from bowlers hand and strikes the pitch.
Well the ball in question is not for actual cricket its just meant for measurement purposes, the manufacturers claim that the ball sensors could get damaged if hit hard directly by the cricket bat so its only meant for measuing speeds on the nets only.
It comes with a three year battery life with price tag of US $45( around Rs 1800)

ISRO TO LAUNCH ITS OWN GEO-MAPPING service:
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set to launch its own satellite imaging system on its website within six months. The system will be similar to geo-mapping service Google Earth or even better than this. According to ISRO, their images qualities will be much better than what is provided by Google Earth right now.
“We are going to launch our own satellite images
on the web within six months from now. Our images are quite good and even better than Google,” ISRO chairman G. Madhavan Nair dislosed on Thursday.
He said certain locations with security risks
have been prohibited by law from being imaged. “These locations will not be there, but the remaining places would definitely be on the Net,” he said.
ISRO launched the PSLV C-9 with two satellites CARTOSAT-2A and IMS-1 last month.
“With the lunch of eight nano-satellites, India has become the world’s second country, after Russia, to launch multi-satellites with Polar Satellite Launch Vehicles (PSLV),” he said.
Nair said the Remote Sensing Satellites (RSS) provide imagery of the earth in a variety of spectral bands and with a resolution better than one metre.
“Data from our RSS are received at about 20 different stations across various parts of the world, including the US and Europe,” he said.
